Twitter can be a very inspiring place to hang out.  Unfortunately if you hang out there too long you often end up biting off more than you can chew!

Recently one of my New Zealand library heroes, @megingle, tagged me into a conversation about picture books.  I used to be a primary school teacher and one of my favourite things to do with my classes – no matter what their age – was to read picture books to them.  Now that I’m a high school librarian at a boys’ school the chance to read picture books doesn’t come up very often.  And I miss them!

So before I knew what I had done, I’d challenged myself to read and review a picture book a day for 2015.  I’m not so worried about the reading side of things…but the reviewing?!  Should be interesting.

Anyway, here is the link to the inspiration for the challenge: My Friend Lucy

Feel free to join me – I’d love some company!

Edited to add:

My #365PictureBooks challenge has started on another blog.
